Kelly - The Floral Source & Petals By the Shore - Maryland

My goal through The Floral Source is to bridge the gap between farmers, florists and wholesalers. The chain of sourcing domestically is reliant on strong relationships and transparency. Not only do I want to see the U.S. floriculture industry thrive for many years to come, but I want to equip today’s and tomorrow’s designers with both the passion and knowledge to design with what grows here in our country. We can all be stewards of change, whether we are sourcing in our own regions or seeking product from other states to fulfill our clients’ visions. There is an abundance of beauty that grows here in America and I want to explore it all with you!

Kelly - Events by Kelly - Pennslyvania

Kelly is a 5th generation horticulturist with an extreme love of plants and appreciation of nature. Taking inspiration from her environment, Kelly designs with a naturalistic style, and is always adding in foraged “little goodies” to her work.

She has extensive experience working with landscaping and the beginnings of woody plant production fields; specifically for cut stems. Kelly uses her background in ornamental horticulture education to process and prepare unconventional plant material for cut stems design use.

After attending the inaugural Wasatch Floral Summit in 2022, Kelly is excited to return in 2023 as an Educator!

Betsy - Dancing Daisies Floral - Utah

Betsy is the owner of, and sole designer for Dancing Daisies Floral; a Home Boutique Floral Studio in Farmington, Utah. Flowers became a “Career Calling” back in 2014, when a friend asked Betsy if she would design the flowers for her upcoming wedding. At that time, Betsy was still teaching elementary school full time, but had already been creating dance flowers for her then teenage son and his friends. Betsy loves to create unique artistry pieces with attention to fine detail work. She is a student of Susan McLeary (@passionflowersue), and attended the 2017 Intrigued Experience Design Workshop with renowned Baltimore Wedding Florist Sarah Campbell, and the April 2018 Design Sanctuary Workshop with Philadelphia’s Premiere Wedding Florist Susan Davis (@freshdesignsflorist), and well known Wedding Planner, Shannon Wellington (@shannonwellingtonweddings). Betsy was invited to teach at the November, 2018 Design Sanctuary Workshop held outside Dallas, Texas, as well as the 2021 Floral Source Workshop sponsored by the talented Kelly Shore (@petalsbytheshore) and American Grown Flowers in Santa Cruz, Ca.

He is the President, CEO, Owner, and current Employee of the Month at The Fairy God Florist in Salt Lake City, Utah. Drake is accredited with The American Institute of Floral Designers. He has designed for a few very well known people, and loves educating others about anything floral.
